Giloy has a laxative (agent increases the movement of the bowel) action that helps treat constipation and due to the presence of hypoglycemic (agents reduce blood sugar level) action, it helps treat diabetes. Kajjali is prepared by combining shuudha gandhak (sulfur) and parad (mercury). It can stimulate sexual desire.
