Styplon is an herbal formulation of Indian Gooseberry, Indian Sarsaparilla, Lodh Tree, and Red Coral.
Indian Gooseberry (Amalaki) comes with hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, which controls local tissue hemorrhage, inflammation, and oxidative tissue damage. Indian Sarsaparilla (Anantamul) stops capillary blood flow. Lodh Tree (Lodhra) acts as an astringent that heals wounds and is helpful in inflammation and swelling. Red Coral (Pravala pishti) is beneficial for bleeding.
Styplon’s hemostatic property controls local tissue hemorrhage effectively. Demulcent herbs present in this tablet soothe and protect irritated or inflamed internal tissues.
Styplon tablets are indicated for treating bleeding gums, bleeding hemorrhoids (painful, swollen veins towards the end of the gastrointestinal tract), epistaxis (nosebleed) and hematuria (presence of blood in urine). It can also be used in gynecological bleeding conditions, which include abnormal uterine bleeding, spotting, post-intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) bleeding, and also as an adjuvant in hemoptysis (blood-stained sputum).
